Choose by role and time. A current public contact belongs in a county, school, or state listing. An address calls for the parcel roll and GIS map. A party to a deed, lien, easement, or plat belongs in the Auditor index. A licensed practitioner is best checked through the board that issued the credential. A past Silverdale resident may be easier to locate through marriage names, an obituary, a yearbook, or a regional telephone volume.

Silverdale Recorded-Party Directory
The Kitsap recorded-document index works as a transaction-party directory. It lists grantors and grantees, terms that usually mean the parties giving and receiving an interest, plus people attached to liens, releases, easements, judgments, covenants, leases, and other instruments. Search by party, document number, date, document type, or addition and legal description. The live index begins in January 1987.
The search modes make it possible to narrow common names by party role, date, and instrument type.
An index hit shows an indexed name and role, document type, Auditor number, recording date, legal or addition reference when supplied, and image or copy behavior. It proves that a name was indexed on an instrument, not that the person now lives at the property or that every statement in the filing is true. Earlier items require the Recording counter, archive research, or another historical collection.
Note: Search both grantor and grantee roles, and keep the Auditor number because it remains useful when a name or address changes.
Silverdale Property Name Directories
The Assessor's Kitsap Parcel Search is a current taxpayer directory tied to land. Search by tax account number, site address, or taxpayer name. A result can show the parcel number, physical address, taxpayer and mailing address, legal description, assessed values, lot or building traits, tax districts, transfer references, and a map link.
The taxpayer-name option makes the parcel portal a directory, but its label carries an important limit.
The Kitsap GIS viewer adds the map side of the directory. It can search an address or account, select a parcel, and pass the user to details. Keep the NW directional in Silverdale addresses. Postal labels, the census boundary, and county service areas do not always match.
The GIS options translate a place on the map into the account number needed for tax and deed directory searches.

A registered agent is the entity's legal contact. That role does not prove beneficial ownership, and an agent address does not prove where each filed officer lives. Compare the UBI, filing dates, and images. Washington trade names use the Department of Revenue's Business Licensing Service, while the Kitsap Chamber directory covers only voluntary members.
KRL Directories Reconnect Families
Kitsap Regional Library offers an unusually practical human route: its staff will help locate an obituary when the death occurred anywhere in Kitsap County. The KRL genealogy service also accepts requests for genealogy items and photocopies. The specialized Genealogy Center and Puget Sound Genealogical Society collection sit at Bremerton's Sylvan Way branch, while Silverdale is the nearest branch doorway. Sylvan Way and Bainbridge Island hold microfilm.
The service cards show routes for obituaries, local items, and help from a librarian rather than promising a single all-name index.

Some FamilySearch images are available specifically at Sylvan Way. Ancestry Library Edition is in-library only. HeritageQuest and Fold3 require a card. These access differences matter when a database appears to withhold an image from home.

Search KRL's catalog for Silverdale, Bremerton, Kitsap County, Polk, telephone directory, and criss-cross or reverse directory. A reverse directory is arranged by address rather than surname. KRL does not publish an exact online shelf list of years or publishers, so ask the library to confirm a volume before planning a visit.

Funeral-home and newspaper obituaries can bridge married names and relatives. For Silverdale's military-mobile population, use dates, middle initials, spouses, and prior places to separate same-name people. Current base personnel rosters are not public directories.
